Bloggertizer: Your Blogger/Advertiser Connection

December 13th 2007 04:11

Bloggertizer is Different

Bloggertizer is a bit different than other paid-to-post sites. Whereas most such sites post opportunities for bloggers to bid on or simply claim on a first-come, first-served basis (if they qualify), Bloggertizer is basically a listing service for bloggers who are interested in writing paid posts.

Bloggertizer's List of Available Blogs

Once a blog has been approved, it is added to the Bloggertizer list of available blogs and pertinent information is added to each blogÂ’s listing, including blog title and URL, brief blog description, Google page rank, type(s) of advertising accepted, and tags. In addition to this info, each listed blog is linked to real-time stats from Google, Yahoo!, and Alexa, which provide up-to-date page rank, Alexa rank, and number of Google and Yahoo! backlinks and indexed pages.

Advertisers Search the List, Contact Bloggers, and Work Out a Deal

This list is then searched by advertisers who are looking for a suitable blog to review their product, service, or website. Tags help advertisers find appropriate groups of blogs from which to choose. Once an advertiser finds a potentially suitable blog, contact is initiated by the advertiser directly with the blogger, and a deal is worked out between advertiser and blogger for the desired service.

Visit the Site to Learn More

Bloggertizer is an intriguing concept in blog advertising, and it will be interesting to see how this works out in practice. If youÂ’d like to have your blog listed with Bloggertizer, check out their What is Bloggertizer? and Blogger FAQ pages. These will explain more about the service and what it has to offer you.

Best of luck to you!
Jeanne

Now that seems like an equitable way of doing things, Jeanne, I had to have a peek at the site. Where do, you find these sites? Raven

Hi, Raven!

As I recall, I read about this site at another blog and decided to check it out. There really are quite a few different paid-to-post sites out there.

PayPerPost has something similar to this idea (in addition to its open marketplace). It's called PayPerPost Direct. It allows advertisers to choose the blogger they want to work with, but it's handled through PPP.

Thanks for your input!
Jeanne

Hi Jeanne,

That's another ppp site you found for me to check out, well done! However, the PR is a problem, my blog is just coming to three months old, so not yet got PR. Also as we know Google are reacting with some hysteria towards ppp and demoting blogs simply because of it.

Smorty, Payperpost, Blogvertise, Sponsored Reviews, Reviewme and PayU2Blog, and Bloggerwave are others I know of. Any there you had not known of? Thought not

Thanks so much Mark!

I do know about all the paid-to-post sites you've mentioned and have, in fact, signed up with all of them. PayU2Blog is one that I've decided not to follow through with, however, because they require their bloggers to take every single opp assigned to them, which I'm not prepared to commit to. They also require sitewide-disclosure-only, which is against my disclosure policy.

A few others you might look into are Blogitive, Loud Launch, and CREAMaid.

The Google PR fiasco has many up in arms, though there seems to be more to it than meets the eye. Many bloggers who haven't even done any paid posting are having their PR slashed or even totally stripped. Only time will tell exactly what's going on.

Best of luck!
Jeanne

Great review of Bloggertizer, Jeanne! I'd never heard of them before. At first, when I started reading, I thought you were doing another review of Blogsvertise. Then I looked closer (my eyes were tired!). Kind of similar names when you think about it or... look at the word with tired eyes

Have a great day!

Smiles,
Michele

Thanks, Michele!

It's incredible how similar some of the paid-to-post companies' names are! I'm forever mixing them up! Aside from Bloggertizer and Blogsvertise, there's Blogitive and Bloggerwave--and I wouldn't be surprised if there are other equally similar ones that I haven't heard of yet! It's enough to make your head spin!

I can certainly see how easy it would be to make the mistake you did, because the two company names you confused with one another are the most alike pair among all the names mentioned!

Thanks for your visit!
Jeanne
