On Friday, September 7th, Yvonne Russell, at Grow Your Writing Business, kicked off her new Writers (and Bloggers) Cafe. In her own words, her purpose for instituting this writers' gathering every Friday through Sunday is to share "marvellous mini milestones and super successes," as well as links to writing- or blogging-related articles or websites that might be helpful to your fellow writers, your plans and goals for your writing/blogging--in short, anything relevant to writing or blogging.

The response has been great. It's a relaxing place to hang out at the end of the week, to share your writing week. The Writers Cafe is open all weekend (Friday - Sunday).

Happy to pass the word about the Writers Cafe, which promises (and already is proving) to be a great place for writers to gather each weekend--a real meeting of minds around those topics that are near and dear to us: writing and blogging!
Personally, I've had an absolutely horrendous three days this week researching and writing a very long and involved article for a client--so I'm pretty much wiped out! I have other writing commitments to complete today, as well, so don't know whether I'll be able to make it over to the Cafe today or not--though I guess "today" is actually over in Australia already! (It's actually the middle of the night down under, isn't it?)
Oh, well, maybe tomorrow...

I have written quite a few pieces for Associated Content, myself; and it is one more potential publishing venue for writers, though not a very high-paying one. It is certainly a way to get your name and work out there before the public, though, while making a modest monetary return in the process.
